VCD-43 Hardwired Camera DetectorFind Cameras That Are Hidden In Ordinary Objects
How It Works
The VCD-43 is a professional product for finding hardwired, covert cameras. Not only will it find things like nanny cameras, but itíll also find regular security cameras in a home or business that might be disguised as smoke detectors or sprinklers.
This product is fine tuned to detect hardwired cameras, which is nearly impossible with other bug detectors available. Every camera has a small device the emits a low frequency that the VCD-43 is designed to locate.
The VCD-43 is the upgraded version of the VCD-42. Model 43 features multiple LEDs, in addition to having an external antenna; both make camera sweeping much easier.
If you are looking to detect wireless signals, consider our other bug detectors.
Used by everyday people worldwide:
Enter the room you want to sweep, and turn the sensitivity dial so that the red Ďalertí light isnít on; this is to setup the detector so it wonít find signals from your neighbors and such. Youíll also want to power down any TVs in the room, as these can interfere with your bug sweep.
Begin to walk along the edges of the room, raising the VCD-43 from the ceiling to the floor as you move across the room. Move across the whole room this way. The VCD-43 will detect signals up to 12 feet away.
If a signal is being detected, the red LED will light up. Pull away and see if the light dims, and then move back to see if it kicks back on again. If so, you may have detected a hard wired camera!
